Two calls leading up to the retreat (Sept & Oct) to get you acquainted with your guides and your group and to identify what you’d most like to work on with the herd. Two calls in the months following (Dec & Jan) to help integrate the learning into your daily life. Date and times for calls TBA with registration.

What: The retreat begins Friday evening with a gathering to meet everyone in person. Get settled into the awesome energy of the land and engage in sacred ceremony to lay the foundation for the weekend’s work and play.

Saturday starts with sunrise yoga. Julie’s gentle guidance takes us through mindful movements and breath work to uncover layers of tension in the body, mind, and heart that unconsciously sabotage our lives. Learn to listen to the wisdom of this tension as a teacher and prepare to offer it up to the horses for healing.

“Yoga is the perfect opportunity to be curious about who you are.”

-Jason Crandell

After breakfast enjoy a walking meditation that draws the natural world into your journey as a source of support. During and after lunch there’ll be time to rest, reflect and enjoy the resort before heading out to meet the herd.

“Every horse has something to teach. Every human has something to learn.”

-Unknown

Marsha and her horses will help you build upon the self-discovery from your yoga practice transforming tension into intelligent action along our life path. Horses help humans dissolve fear, develop confidence, and overcome barriers that limit our ability to communicate effectively thereby creating meaningful relationships with ourselves and others.

No horse experience is necessary. We will not be riding and there’s no need to touch the horses but you certainly can if you like. You will always be safeSaturday concludes with dinner, a sacred sharing circle and Yoga Nidra, a deeply restorative form of meditation, under the desert moon.

Sunday morning brings us back together with the horses for a chance to step more fully into our authentic power. Learn to lead your life from love and trust instead of fear and worry. Embody confidence that’s grounded in the knowing that you are worthy, whole and capable. We’ll return to the resort for our final yoga and self-expression sessions. A detailed schedule will be provided a few weeks before the event.

Does this experience call to you?

We hope so! We’ve seen the amazing changes people can make by blending the path of yoga and the wisdom of horses together. We’ve experienced it in our own lives and with numerous clients. You’ll go home transformed, not because there’s anything wrong with you, but because you’ve released what weighs you down and stands in the way of how awesome you already are. And remember, you get to keep working with us after the retreat!
